As promised, some photos of the unique landscape that is created by the largest inland delta in the world, the Okavango Delta in Botswana. We were there during when the waters had not yet truly begun to rise, and thus we could take a safari vehicle to our lodge; 9 months out of the year visitors take a boat. We got to enjoy early mornings, driving through water, and a ride in a makoro, the traditional form of transport for the people of the area. Next up....the wildlife!
